As proud members of the Sacred Heart University Women's Soccer team, we are participating in this year’s Annual Friends and Family Campaign to raise critical funds in support of our program. Our team goal is to raise $10,000.
As the season approaches we are confident in our ability to compete for a championship and hope we can count on your support. Your generous support will enable our team to invest in new equipment, enhance our recruiting budget, and allow us to spend extra nights on the road for crucial conference games! The athletics department raised more than $100,000 last year during this campaign that helped more than 850 student-athletes across all 32 varsity teams.
Additionally, we are proud to share that our fellow Pioneer student-athletes earned 33 First-Team All-Conference honors during last academic year. Continued academic success, with a department wide GPA of 3.34, was highlighted by Emily Orosco earning CoSida Academic All-America and Abigail Hood and Joseph Choiniere earning the NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. Together we contributed nearly 9,000 hours of community service, and had a runner-up finish in the NEC Building Communities Award – an honor the Pioneers have won six of the past eight years the award has been presented
We are truly proud to represent this remarkable institution and have high expectations for the future of our program. On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches, and administrators here at Sacred Heart University, thank you so much for your generosity and continued support of SHU Women's Soccer!
