What is "We Are SHU"?
"We Are SHU" is the approved Sacred Heart University crowdfunding platform that empowers members of the University Community looking to engage in formal fundraising activities on behalf of a project or initiative where a compelling need exists and there is a great story to tell. This platform has the ability to provide prospective and current donors as well as new audiences the opportunity to directly support the Colleges, Schools, programs, scholarship, teams, organizations and projects at SHU that are most meaningful to them. The aim is to help the University community achieve their fundraising goal by connecting donors in a highly personalized and transparent way to their project.
How do I make a contribution to a "We Are SHU" campaign/project?
Visit WeAreSHU.sacredheart.edu. The home page lists all of SHU's active campaigns/projects. Select the campaign/project you want to support and click the Donate Today button in the upper right corner to make a secure online donation with a credit card.
You can also make your gift by mail by sending a check, made out to the Sacred Heart University, or money order to:

Will my "We Are SHU" project gift be tax deductible?
Absolutely! 100% of your gift is considered a gift to SHU, which is a 501 (c) (3).
Will I receive a tax receipt?
A tax receipt will be mailed to you after you have made your donation.
Is my gift eligible for a corporate match?
Please contact your employer to determine if they will match your gift and their process for matching gifts. For additional information visit our "ways to give page".
