"We Are SHU" is the approved Sacred Heart University crowdfunding platform. Similarly to Go Fund Me, We Are SHU is a fundraising platform that empowers members of the SHU community to raise funds for a project or initiative, however the difference is this platform nor the University take a portion of fundraised dollars. 100% of the money your group, department, or organization raises goes directly to the project. With We Are SHU, you have the ability to create a project specific page with auto-generated links to share with family, friends, and alumni on social media, and any other channels used to promote your project. The other added benefit of using We Are SHU is that anyone who makes a donation to your project either online, cash, or check, their gift is 100% tax deductible.
