Help the Sacred Heart University Student Government fulfill SHU's community service traditions by helping to provide 50,000 meals to families in our local communities.
Each year the Sacred Heart University Student Government works to support the student body and promote the common good of society. Through various initiatives, such as the Turkey Drive and SHU’s partnership with Meals of Hope, the Student Government raises school spirit, social awareness, and cultivates a campus community that is recognized as caring and creative.
In an effort to continue the tradition of giving back, the SHU Student Government will host a meal packing event on March 19, 2019 and is raising funds to help underwrite the cost of this experience. SHU students will come together to form assembly lines to help pack meals for those in our local communities suffering from daily food shortages. With over 34,000 children struggling with hunger in Fairfield County alone, your support can help the Student Government reach its ambitious goal in the fight against hunger.

Student Government would like to express its appreciation for your support, and is offering any donor at the $10 or more donation level a commemorative "Hunger Project" t-shirt.
Should this campaign exceed goal, Student Government will determine if it should utilize the funds to assist additional families or to support future mission-based service initiatives.
Your $10 donation will help provide 40 meals to families in our local communities.
Your $20 donation will help provide 80 meals to families in our local communities.
Your $30 donation will help provide 120 meals to families in our local communities.
Your $40 donation will help provide 160 meals to families in our local communities.
Your $50 donation will help provide 200 meals to families in our local communities.
