Help Student Government in the Fight to End Hunger!

*UPDATE: As of February 21, 2018, Student Government has exceed their ambitious goal of raising enough money to provide 25,00 meals. With the remaining 21 days until packing day, Student Government has increased their goal and hope to raise enough funds to provide an additional 25,000 meals for a total of 50,000 meals that they are able to provide to families in our local community.

Help the Sacred Heart University Student Government fulfill SHU's community service traditions by helping to provide 25,000 meals to families in our local communities.  

Each year the Sacred Heart University Student Government works to support the student body and promote the common good of society. Through various initiatives, such as the Turkey Drive and SHU’s partnership with Meals of Hope, the Student Government raises school spirit, social awareness, and cultivates a campus community that is recognized as caring and creative.  

In an effort to continue the tradition of giving back, the SHU Student Government will host a meal packing event on March 15, 2018 and is raising funds to help underwrite the cost of this experience. SHU students will come together to form assembly lines to help pack meals for those in our local communities suffering from daily food shortages. With over 34,000 children struggling with hunger in Fairfield County alone, your support can help the Student Government reach its ambitious goal in the fight against hunger.
