About Us
SHU Club Softball is in its 8th season as a club sport at Sacred Heart. The team is very competitive and made up of 25 women who are on the official NCSA Roster as well as 5 practice squad players.They are a member of the National Club Softball Association (NCSA) which consists of 110 teams throughout the country. We compete in the New England Region-South Division which is made up of SHU, Rutgers University, Monmouth University, Hartwick College, Lafayette College and Montclair St. University.
Our Project
Our team is making plans to travel to Virgina, participate in Spring Training Activities, and eventually Regionals and the World Series. The cost of these trips for the program will exceed $15,000.00, and our budget will not be able to cover all this. We are launching a fundraising effort over the next 30-days to get our team to Virginia and fundraise to support our post-season competitions.
We are so thankful for the support we have received thus far from our SHU Softball family, alumni, and friends, but hope you are able to consider a donation to help us continue our run this season!
